Role Summary

Anthropologie Living is looking for a Sr. Product Development Coordinator to drive innovation and efficiency within the textiles category -  as well as strategizing and developing long term plans  to deliver department goals and initiatives. This individual will deliver aesthetically pleasing samples that meet the brand’s vision while supporting the brand’s needs and business requirements. Position requires a high level of time management and tactical skills, multi-tasking abilities, maintaining agility to shift responsibilities and focus on moment’s notice. Effective cross functional and senior communication, file creation and reporting are to be anticipated.

Role Responsibilities

Full responsible for all facets of the product development process

  • Brief Submission and development monitoring w. vendor partners monitoring
  • Read, understand, and follow the department calendar. Ensure deadlines are met to actualize seasonal calendar successfully. 
  • Coordinate, assign, and schedule appropriate meetings, according to development calendar 
  • Analyze development line plans and report workflow needs
  • Create and maintain accurate product development WIP report to ensure on time sample delivery
  • R&D on seasonal vision(s) w. vendor base

Financial

  • SKU IMU parameter management – FOB & ELC
  • Cost negotiations and resourcing on legacy styles
  • Decreasing sampling costs and proposing creative solutions for solutions to physical samples to arrive in house
  • Purchase Order Hand Off management w. The postproduction team.

Vendor Management

  • Vendor management w. a full knowledge of their capabilities, abilities and capacities while being able to identify growth opportunities within assigned categories
  • Quarterly calls w. all vendors for business updates
  • Weekly reporting and updates for all WIP management.

Operating System Responsibility (Bamboo Rose & CLIQ)

  • Advocate for PLM system tracking and management

Day to Day Management

  • Owning weekly meetings both in person & via ZOOM w. cross functional teams.
  • Development tracker population
  • Core Fabric Library building, populating, and keeping up to date.
  • Execute and deliver on tasks and small projects as guided by manager
  • Strict adherence of line plans and addressing deviations before accepting new developments from cross functional teams.
  • Visual Line List management
  • Define a GBB strategy in partnership w. Buying Merchants

Role Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Home Textiles product development required.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, construction and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Effective communication w. internal and external teams and ability to work w. large teams.
  • Proactive and ownership mentality of your responsibilities in your given class
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Listens actively and asks appropriate questions to gain knowledge. 
  • Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel Skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and multiple tasks. Manage time effectively.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Exhibits a strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Exhibits a growth mindset; willing to learn and adapt to URBN’s processes and systems. Listens actively and asks appropriate questions to gain knowledge.
