Role Summary

URBN is looking for a Benefits Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating all administrative tasks and activities for the Benefits Department, including, but not limited to, the responsibilities as outlined below.  

Role Responsibilities

  • Support health and welfare plans for US and Canadian locations. 
  • Handle all department billing and check requests. 
  • Reconcile payments, track stop-loss reimbursements, and review utilization reports. 
  • Assist with auditing invoices, ensuring that terminations and enrollments are processed in a timely manner. 
  • Assist with the Benefits portion of new hire Orientation for Home Office. 
  • Answer general Benefits and Employment Administration questions via email and telephone. 
  • Run monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly reports and audits for departments as needed. 
  • Help organize communication and packets for open enrollment and ongoing benefits events.  
  • Coordinate regular benefit communications to support all benefit eligible populations.  
  • Manage approval system for Dependent Verification System. 
  • Complete Employee Benefit Verifications. 
  • Support HR Specialist with LOA request paperwork, FMLA paperwork, communication and record keeping.  
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned. 

Role Qualifications

  • Requires a high level of integrity with regard to the confidential nature of the position. 
  • A demonstrated level of technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Strong customer service attitude. 
  • Experience with UKG is a plus.
