Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for an analytical, collaborative, and dedicated individual to play a key role in the allocating apparel for Anthropologie. The Allocator is an operational role working with multiple teams across the organization, including the Planning, Buying, Operations, Distribution, and Reporting teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Allocate merchandise directly to stores for multiple classes.
  • Maintain Sales and Inventory plans by class/attribute/store using MID system.
  • Provide store insight/opportunities for buying based on $/ST%
  • Lead meetings to align with buying on store distribution strategy including sku counts and depth.
  • Manage inventory for store openings and closings.
  • Validate assortment flow by style and grade to ensure accurate sizing/store intent.

Role Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years allocation experience
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills measuring key retail metrics
  • Strong capacity for multi-tasking with an operational mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain a high level of accuracy completing multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Open to constructive feedback
  • Team-oriented & collaborative
  • Organized, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business or a related field
