Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking an Operations Coordinator who will report to the Operations Manager and assist in the day-to-day coordination and management of field operational activities. This person will be responsible for processes, tools, and technologies that support the store teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports for data analysis, utilizing multiple reporting sources and tools to identify and analyze successes, opportunities, and trends
  • Daily management of ad-hoc and recurring reporting utilizing Excel functions (Vlookup, Sumif, Concatenate, etc.)
  • Gather and analyze information about processes and programs. Prepare reports, create, and maintain presentations, and other documents for review and input for programs, policies, and activities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
  • Work with brand partners and retail teams to collect information for upcoming key initiatives
  • Ensure the successful and timely implementation of projects while streamlining procedures that create efficiencies
  • Ensure all documented policies, procedures, standards, and reference tools are current and easily accessible to stores and field leadership
  • Assist with all IT communication, project roll outs, and enterprise solutions for the stores and field team
  • Assist with documentation of new systems and updates, including IT implementation coordination – training, manuals, improvements for all IT programs
  • Oversee and manage supplies; scrutinize and report on store supplies ordering to ensure supply expense is managed to budget
  • Manage the individual Store Pages/Store Hours collection, upload, and enhancement

Role Qualifications

  • Proficient in Excel, EDW, Qlik, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent understanding of direct and retail operations and familiarity with business objectives
  • Demonstrate logical analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to analyze, present, and communicate information in a manner that allows informed decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for driving results
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
