Role Summary

URBN is searching for a Data Privacy Representative. This Customer Service Representative will be a key contributor to Urban Outfitters’ (URBN) data privacy compliance group by fielding various types of data privacy requests from customers and other contacts. Data privacy compliance requires that URBN provide clear and open channels of communication to anyone of which URBN has collected, processed and / or stored their personal data, in-line with our internet privacy policy.  The position requires knowledge of customer service processes as well as a proficiency in office-style technology (such as Microsoft Office).  The Customer Service Representative will also participate in the continuous improvement and growth of the URBN data privacy compliance program.

 

This role is hybrid and onsite in Philadelphia three days per week, remote two days per week.

Role Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming consumer data privacy requests (primarily through email and voicemail), dispatching to the appropriate group for processing and responding accordingly
  • Assist in performing the duties of various processing groups as needed
  • Special and ad-hoc projects as required

Role Qualifications

  • Possess excellent speaking voice and vocabulary
  • Able to type minimum of 25 words per minute
  • Must be able to successfully complete training and pass assessment exam
  • Effective use of computer skills
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills
