Role Summary

URBN is seeking a passionate Product Manager to join our Digital Product team.  As a member of the product team, you will work with stakeholders from across our organization to maintain and evolve the product space within your purview.

 

You will be responsible for synthesizing multiple, often conflicting, points of view and sources of information to define, implement, and iterate on a product strategy. You thrive on cross-functional collaboration and are excited to partner with design, engineering, user research, marketing, and operations partners throughout the product development lifecycle.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead – Demonstrate a high degree of ownership as you drive the ideation, development, and launch of digital products supporting your product roadmap.
  • Align – Work across the enterprise to gather and align requirements in a manner that clearly prioritizes meaningful customer and business objectives.
  • Analyze – Use information to inform your decision making. Integrate both qualitative and quantitative data (usability studies, market analysis, A/B test results) to assess opportunities and drive iterative improvements.
  • Define Requirements – Write detailed business requirements and user stories that will help guide delivery teams through the solution implementation process.
  • Anticipate – Take initiative to see around corners and help to solve problems before they impact teams.

Role Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in building and shipping consumer digital products together with teams of designers & engineers.
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller, ability to navigate ambiguity & communicate a clear point of view to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and support a team to get things done.
  • Excitement around about building digital products for a passionate group of Brands in a rapidly changing retail landscape.
  • Detail oriented with organizational skills and ability to easily manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Experience working in Retail is strongly desired.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Design, or related field is ideal.
