Role Summary

Anthropologie is searching for a Merchandise Planner to maximize sales by developing sound merchandise plans that support Company goals for sales, turn and margin. 

Role Responsibilities

  • OTB Management
  • Sales/Markdowns/Receipts/IMU/Gross Margin Forecasting based on current sales trend using TXT Planning
  • Attribute Planning
  • Summarize weekly, monthly, quarterly performance vs plan at class & attribute levels & propose action points
  • Style Count Productivity Analysis
  • Establish & maintain style count plans by channel & store cluster
  • Support buying and production team with system and views needed
  • Seasonal hindsights analysis to help support future buy plans
  • Supporting buying with attribute, sizing & price point analysis to help build the new assortment
  • Investment Review financial recaps
  • Markdown & Promo forecasting, management, and execution

Role Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Planning or Allocation Analysis role
  • Some experience in buying or store management is a plus
  • Expert command of retail math concepts and applications
  • Strong statistical analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Technical skill proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
