Anthropologie is seeking a Merchandise Planning Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2027. In this role, you will help maximize sales, manage inventory, and support division financial objectives while collaborating cross-functionally across teams. We are looking for a proactive and curious candidate who combines a passion for fashion and retail trends with a strong interest in business strategy, numbers, and consumer behavior to learn how data-driven planning drives profitability.

Partner closely with Buying and Merchandising teams toward shared department goals.
Assist planning counterparts with operational tasks and division reporting.
Help build style-level plans using current forecasts, historical trends, and test results for key attributes.
Support merchandise planning across one or more assigned departments.
Participate in Open-to-Buy (OTB), Strategy, and Hindsight meetings to contribute input on distribution strategies.
Maintain weekly reporting on sales trends, style performance, on-order status, and unit turnover.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Retail Management, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
Strong foundation in retail math, statistical analysis, and data-driven problem-solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization), Word, and Outlook.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Passion for retail, e-commerce planning, fashion trends, and consumer behavior.
