Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for a Store Communications & Design Intern to join us for the summer! This intern will support the Store Operations team by creating dynamic resources to support store communications through engaging content development and a modern, thoughtful and innovative approach to design with a variety of end uses and mediums to educate our store teams on operational functions within their four walls.

The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

 

1) Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position.

 

2) Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application.

 

3) Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support Associate Store Ops Manager to ideate / elevate communication materials around brand initiatives and uphold brand design standards and style guides. 
  • Partner with store operations team leadership to determine content / training needs, timelines and ownership. 
  • Write short, impactful and creative content for store leadership team and associate-level employees. 
  • Have basic understanding of retail operations and communications, and support editing of content as needed during the design process
  • Design digital content including activities, tutorials, job aids, assessments, multimedia based assets and printed materials. 
  • Create mini-campaign branding assets (i.e. logos, mockups, etc.) for use in all communications. 
  • Proactively seek out new AI technology, graphic design and multimedia trends. 
  • Concept, create and edit short operational training videos and/or photoshoots for content.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications

  • Experience in graphic design and development of written training materials preferred. 
  • Experience with all Adobe Suite programs & Canva
  • Experience in planning, scripting, filming, and editing video content. 
  • Appreciation of Anthropologie culture, customer and brands or similar retail experience. 
  • Understanding of visual communication. 
  • Innovative self-starter who takes initiative and remains self-motivated and organized in a fast paced, evolving environment.
