Role Summary

As a Digital Product Creation (DPC) Intern, you will serve as a project and process coordinator bridging the gap between design creativity, technical innovation, and operational execution. In this role, you will help streamline end-to-end product lifecycle workflows by driving DPC tool adoption, supporting R&D initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional digital initiatives across internal teams, regional offices, and external vendors. You will play a key role in testing innovative tools - including generative AI models and 3D design workflows - and capturing actionable cross-departmental feedback to work towards streamlining manual touchpoints, bring efficiency across product lifecycle, and standardizing processes across the DPC ecosystem.

The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

 

1) Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position.

 

2) Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application.

 

3) Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Workflow & program coordination: Support the planning, alignment, and execution of DPC initiatives to ensure strategic growth and operational efficiency across the digital product creation projects.

  • Feedback systems analysis: Help capture, synthesize, and implement user feedback loops across product lifecycle stages to optimize digital tools and workflows.

  • AI & 3D tool enablement: Assist in testing, validating, and rolling out next-gen AI tools, including generative AI applications, virtual sampling tools and their features, and digital library resources.

  • Cross-functional upskilling & support: Coordinate training sessions, user pressure testing, and support materials to empower product teams in adopting DPC tools.

  • Tech-to-Business translation: Collaborate with technical and creative teams to translate operational needs into scalable digital solution concepts and workflow establihments.

Role Qualifications

  • Mindset & Passions: Strong interest in digital innovation, an information science/systems mindset, and a passion for operating at the intersection of fashion creativity and emerging technologies.

  • Required Technical & Tool Familiarity:

    • Familiarity with 3D design software (e.g., CLO3D, CLO-SET, Shima Seiki Apex) and PLM systems (e.g., Bamboo Rose).

    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping/collaboration platforms (e.g., Figma, Miro).

    • Hands-on experience or active curiosity with AI platforms/tools (e.g., Google AI Studio, Claude, Midjourney).

  • Key Soft Skills: Excellent communication and tech-to-business translation skills, strong organizational and time-management capabilities, and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
