Role Summary

URBN is seeking a Network Operations Support Intern. We're looking for a rising senior or recent graduate with an interest in tech who wants hands-on experience with the network operations team, supporting the users, infrastructure, and applications that power a large-scale global retail business. This is a high-tempo, fast-paced environment — you'll work alongside our Technical Services and Operations teams supporting business offices, distribution/fulfillment centers, retail stores, and restaurants globally, and you'll be encouraged to bring new ideas and solutions to our retail landscape. We're also highly enthusiastic about AI and looking for someone eager to explore how it can be applied to network operations.

The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

 

1) Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position.

 

2) Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application.

 

3) Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating alerts across our global network infrastructure.
  • Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalating alerts in key applications and backend processing.
  • Support system administration tasks, including creating users and managing groups in Active Directory.
  • Support network administration tasks, including switch port configuration changes on Cisco and Juniper switches.
  • Assist with store broadband, network, and wireless troubleshooting in retail locations.
  • Assist with store broadband circuit installations and troubleshooting in retail locations.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and solutions to ongoing department projects and initiatives.

    Job Type: Internship (hourly), 9-5, M-F

Role Qualifications

  • Rising senior or recent graduate with an interest in the tech field.
  • Working knowledge of Windows or MacOS.
  • Basic networking/troubleshooting knowledge, including wireless networking.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to actively participate in peer communications.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies, including AI tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment.
  • Experience with Juniper EX switching is a plus.
  • Experience with Cisco switching is a plus.
