Urban Outfitters Creative Studio Intern

Urban Outfitters is looking for a Creative Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. This role will work across art direction, styling, photography, and production, gaining hands-on experience in the creative process from early concepting through final execution. The intern will support both seasonal storytelling and day-to-day creative initiatives while collaborating with teams across the UO Creative organization.

• Support the creative team across art direction, styling, photography, and production for seasonal campaigns, editorial, e-commerce, and digital content.
• Assist with creative research and concept development, including visual references, mood boards, casting inspiration, location research, and competitive exploration.
• Support shoot preparation and on-set execution, working alongside photographers, art directors, stylists, producers, and other creative partners.
• Assist the styling team with sample organization, outfitting preparation, and developing seasonal trend direction.
• Support production needs including prop and location research, shoot organization, call sheet preparation, and general pre-production coordination.
• Participate in contributing ideas and developing an understanding of the Urban Outfitters visual identity.

• Observational and curious, with a strong cultural awareness and a willingness to bring forward fresh perspectives, challenge convention, and contribute new ideas.
• Eager to learn across multiple creative disciplines rather than focusing on a single area of expertise.
• Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working within a fast-paced creative environment.
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to balance creative thinking and hands-on execution.

Project Requirement:

In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role please submit a Concept Campaign Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred). Once you complete your project, please upload it, along with your portfolio, to the additional documents section in the application process.

• Create a concept board for a Fall 2027 Anthropologie Campaign. Please include imagery you think best represents the Anthro brand, including casting decisions (models), shoot locations, product, art direction inspiration, and styled looks.
• Pull imagery from Streetwear, Pinterest, Social, runway, etc. to show your point of view.
• We are looking for forward thinkers showing future inspirational trends that move beyond where we are currently or where we have been, so show us fun trends we should have in our assortment!
