Role Summary

URBN is looking for a Sourcing Operations Intern to join us for the summer. This intern will support initiatives that improve visibility, communication, and decision-making across the global sourcing organization. The role will focus on developing executive reporting tools and dashboards, analyzing sourcing and vendor data, and supporting vendor communications and operational processes.

The URBN 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/7 through 8/13 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

 

1) Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position.

 

2) Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application.

 

3) Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of executive-level reporting tools and dashboards that provide visibility into key sourcing metrics, trends, and business priorities.
  • Analyze sourcing, vendor, and operational data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with vendor communications and follow-up, helping translate data and business needs into clear, actionable messaging.
  • Partner with Sourcing Operations and cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and improve existing tools and processes.
  • Help maintain and validate data used in dashboards, recurring reporting, and sourcing applications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the automation or streamlining of recurring reports, communications, and operational workflows.
  • Contribute to special projects involving data visualization, reporting, process improvement, or emerging AI/data capabilities.

Role Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computing Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related analytical/technical field.
