Role Summary

URBN is seeking a Project Coordinator. The New Store Project Coordinator manages daily functions and communications related to operations in the Technology Depot in Gap, PA.  This includes activity for new stores, RELOs, or downsizes in which new equipment is received, configured, and shipped to the site.  Preferably, the candidate will already have experience as a Store Support Analyst to continue in that role as a secondary responsibility.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Retail Project team on maintaining the calendar for all new store equipment movements and on procurement and reception of equipment intended for store builds.

  • Assume role of point person for all communications with vendors related to store builds.

  • Support third party vendor technicians at point of installs.

  • Lead all turnover calls with the brands and follow through on all issue resolution.

  • Support daily build tasks, including but not limited to:

    • Pickup of equipment from GFC Receiving department

    • Confirming equipment readiness with third party vendors for new store builds

    • Assist third party vendors with configuring and testing of new store and relocation equipment

    • Maintain checklist for configuring and testing of build equipment

  • Support operational tasks NOT related to any new build, including but not limited to:

    • Pickup of any equipment addressed to “IT New Stores” or returned from stores from GFC Receiving department

    • Inventory of devices and cables kept in storage for break/fix situations (includes informing Engineering Project Manager when server, switch, or other equipment needs re-ordered)

    • Recycling of faulty returned equipment once confirmed unusable (includes coordinating recycle pickups with vendor)

    • Facilitate configuration and shipping of equipment from the build depot.

  • Training of new analysts on configuration, reception, inventory, etc. and related tasks.

  • Keeping build team knowledge current on new equipment and configurations.
