Role Summary

Nuuly is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Business Analytics team. 

 

Nuuly’s clothing rental model relies on seamless coordination between fashion, technology, and operations. We continuously innovate how customers and inventory move across a multi-node fulfillment network to deliver the best possible customer experience. The Business Analytics team partners closely with cross-functional partners to support strategy across buying & planning, supply chain & logistics, customer success, and product management. We take on complex questions that go beyond what dashboards can answer; providing data-driven insights to inform decisions across all functions of the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Understand & analyze data via Google BigQuery (SQL), Looker, & Python.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to understand the intent behind business questions and translate into thoughtful analytics solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of high quality, well documented analyses - including defining metrics & approaches, soliciting stakeholder feedback, and refining analyses. Projects range in scope from clearly defined business questions, to more complex, ambiguous problems.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to guide product strategy and evaluate feature performance.

Role Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics or quantitative roles
  • Excellent SQL skills.
    • Ability to efficiently query, manipulate, and analyze data. 
    • Ability to thoroughly QA & resolve bugs
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Foundational Python experience with eagerness to further develop skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Strong statistical aptitude

 

Additional:

  • Interest in logistics, product, and customer analytics
  • Experience in retail, fashion, supply chain & logistics, or subscription services is a plus
  • Experience with dbt is a plus
