Role Summary

Creative Assistant position plays an integral role in merchandise coordination and creative + PDP shoot needs in studio and on-location.  Fostering a proactive and strong cross-functional relationship with Home Buying teams is essential. This position works closely with producers, art directors and merchandisers to ensure successful partnership and efficient workflow.

 

Role Responsibilities

 

 

CREATIVE ASSISTANT:

  • Ensure product is organized and ready when needed to ensure efficiency on shoots. This will include but not limited to:
    • Partner with Director of Productions and Producer on pre-production sample logistics: sample passing and sample returns.
    • Working with buyers and merchandisers to track down, organize and coordinate pick-up/drops of product samples for creative shoots + weekly PDP turnover.
    • Be familiar with the product priorities and assortments to be a resource to creative team members on-set.
    • Review product assortments with buyers and communicate any sample issues to creative team when necessary. Alternatively, communicate any sample issues with buyers.
    • Assist in coordinating the transportation of product to shoots. In addition to props and production equipment.
    • Responsible for keeping product clean and intact.
    • Partner with Building Operations to manage sample storage facilities and ensure all items are properly organized and order is maintained.
    • Work with building management and cross-functional teams to continue systems of organization and processes for the movement of samples - Spearhead keeping teams accountable.
  • Provide production support as needed in studio and on location including management of movers or production assistants.
  • Keep inventory of production equipment, supplies, set materials and props and source items as needed.
  • Additionally, provide support for all photography, video and product efforts of the production team. This includes daily e-commerce shoots, creative + social shoots and larger creative team projects and internal photo needs.

 

 

SAMPLE COORDINATOR:

  • Manages the Terrain Turnover process from Buying to Photography to ensure all samples for web are correctly labeled and passed to the Studio in a timely manner.
  • Support the Studio Teams through sample organization and operational processes.
  • Accurately check in and tracks samples in SHOTFLOW through scanning and reporting.
  • Communicate any sample issues with Buying teams prior to photography
  • Manage creative hold document for samples flowing in and out of the studio
  • Maintains product flow from creative and ecommerce sets to ensure product is shot and ready to activate by deadlines.
  • Identifying product in weekly turnover to be pulled and organized for upcoming Creative shoots.

  • Maintains positive relationships with cross functional teams
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 40lbs
  • Current driver’s license
  • Ability to drive large trucks and vans
  • MS Office, Outlook
  • Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of PowerPoint, InDesign and Photoshop a plus
