Role Summary

FP Movement is looking for a Sr. PD Coordinator to fully coordinate tasks with team members for a category or collection of products demonstrating strong project management skills by maintaining transparency & issue escalation to maintain organizational alignment. Utilizes understanding of apparel development, manufacturing processes & technical specs to deliver products that achieve cost & performance objectives. Develops an understanding of the brand vision, goals & strategies and URBN fundamentals.

Role Responsibilities

  • Utilizes understanding of apparel development, manufacturing processes & technical specs to deliver products that achieve cost & performance objectives.
  • Utilizes knowledge of material, physical fit / wear test & when to apply to ensure that the products they are responsible for satisfy the consumer.
  • Responsible for product IMU and escalates challenges to their manager to collaborate on opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to engage in product reviews & cost analysis can make recommendations to balance cost, manufacturability and design.
  • Maintains timelines and proactively identifies problems.
  • As a catalyst for change, looks for ways to incorporate new methodologies into projects, using creative thinking, experimentation and innovation in problem solving.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves technical issues related to product development and processes; evaluates protos & takes necessary actions to resolve problems.
  • Actively participates in team meetings and offers candid opinions with tact & diplomacy. Uses ethical considerations to guide decision making.
  • Effectively collaborates with cross functional team members and global partners.
  • Proactive in communicating information about development issues; Actively elevates issues & addresses problems before they create risk or impact the project goals.
  • Responsible for seeing that the project follows the guidelines & project requirements established by the team and ability to lead product development activities.
  • Demonstrates leadership by taking initiative & delivering against commitments.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in apparel development.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Word/PPT/Slides/Sheets & PLM software
  • Displays courteous & effective written & oral communication skills; communicates ideas clearly & concisely.
  • Stays current on innovations in the field and shares information with team members.
  • Some travel
