Role Summary

 FP Movement is looking for someone who is responsible for concepting and overseeing the execution of a variety of eCommerce assets, including monthly email marketing and site experience, the creation of brand appropriate online categories and the overall maintenance of the site. The Merchandiser has a strong understanding of the FP Movement customer, possesses excitement and enthusiasm for product, and is able to craft compelling, brand-appropriate merchandising moments with the goal of driving sales.

Role Responsibilities

  • Concept quarterly merchandising business initiatives based on FP Movement product assortment (identifying trends, key products for amplification and specific category focuses).
  • Generate monthly hindsight recaps, articulating last year’s wins/losses and dictating what learnings are important to craft this year’s strategy.
  • Concept monthly email marketing and total site experience for FP Movement categories by leveraging strong awareness of key products and trends in the business, coupled with information and recommendations from Analytics team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to capture key learnings about the customer, applying these learnings to the overall brand strategy.
  • Attend business meetings and react to merchandising strategy accordingly.
  • Manage and oversee creative FP Movement capsules for all direct photoshoots.
  • Oversee product presentation and category maintenance across the site, app and email marketing to ensure consistency and strong brand POV

Role Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of web merchandising experience
  • Strong understanding of the FP Movement customer and the ability to translate marketplace and trend trajectories.
  • Enthusiastic about product, specifically within the activewear category.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and motivating in presentation and communication style.
  • Ability to work independently with high sense of urgency while supporting company goals and objectives and balancing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to identify and communicate trends appropriate to customer and distill trend information into key messages that drive sales and marketing plans.             
  • Ability to understand and interpret sales and marketing statistics and translate to relevant merchandising and aesthetic cues.
