Role Summary

URBN is hiring an HRIS Analyst to join a wonderful team! As a member of the URBN HRIS team, the HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration of URBN’s HRIS, Payroll and Workforce Management systems, UKG Pro HCM and UKG Pro WFM. The HRIS Analyst impacts system design, functionality, and utilization by strategically analyzing and translating organizational needs into technical configuration, process design, and change management procedures. The HRIS Analyst serves as the main point of contact for system configuration, security, integrations and reporting.

Role Responsibilities

  • Serve as the system subject matter expert to help drive data accuracy, system performance, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Conducts system functionality gap analyses, recommends and implements enhancements to configuration.
  • Makes configuration updates within UKG systems for permission profiles, new stores, new jobs, hierarchy moves etc.
  • Manage software release updates through analysis of system changes, testing, and change management.
  • Ensures system configuration complies with all federal, state, and local regulations and stays up to date on changing regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as tier 2 customer support by investigating and resolving complex escalated support issues.
  • Partner with the business to identify areas of opportunity for system & process improvements and automation.
  • Coordinate and participate in testing for system implementations, upgrades, enhancements.
  • Assist in the development of training materials (documentation, guidelines, procedures, etc.) as well as leading training programs.
  • Maintain discretion and ensure proper handling while dealing with highly sensitive data.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT or a related field of study.
  • 3+ years of work experience in HCM, HRIS, Payroll or Workforce Management system administration.
  • Experience with UKG Pro HCM (formerly UltiPro) and/or UKG Pro WFM (formerly Kronos Dimensions) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of Employment, Payroll, Timekeeping, and Wage & Hour concepts and regulations.
  • Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving.
