Role Summary

Nuuly is seeking a Technical Project Manager who will join Nuuly's Product & Technology organization supporting the Platform Engineering team's delivery of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD enablement, and platform engineering solutions. The TPM will partner closely with Engineering leadership to understand technical needs and priorities from internal development teams, manage the team's portfolio and roadmap, and facilitate delivery within an agile delivery process. This is a multi-disciplinary role that spans technical program management, scrum delivery leadership, and infrastructure project coordination for a team of 8 engineers consisting of DevOps engineers, Platform Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers.  Reports to Sr. Manager, Solution Delivery

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage intake, prioritization, and roadmap planning for all Platform team initiatives based on infrastructure requests from internal engineering teams
  • Facilitate the collection, documentation and review of functional/business requirements with engineering leadership and key stakeholders
  • Lead and manage processes to define technical solutions, refine user stories, plan deliveries, manage daily standups with engineering resources and lead retrospective activities
  • Develop and maintain quarterly roadmaps, capacity plans, and resource allocation strategies to balance competing infrastructure demands
  • Partner with engineering to break down complex infrastructure initiatives into executable technical tasks with clear milestones and success metrics
  • Identify cross-team dependencies, resource constraints, and technical risks, proactively resolving program-level challenges and escalating critical blockers
  • Maintain centralized visibility into ongoing Platform Engineering initiatives, providing transparency to stakeholders and engineering leadership
  • Create and maintain backlog of user stories for infrastructure projects including cloud resources, CI/CD pipelines, and platform tooling improvements
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple engineering teams relying on Platform services.

Role Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in technical project management or technical program management roles supporting DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure teams in complex technical environments
  • Proven track record managing technical programs involving senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in technical settings working with engineering delivery teams
  • Experience managing competing priorities and capacity constraints across multiple internal stakeholders
  • Experience managing project portfolios and roadmaps for technical teams

 

Job Skills

  • Ability to write detailed user stories or tasks to translate infrastructure and platform requirements into executable work for an engineering delivery team
  • Expert knowledge of JIRA, Monday.com, Confluence or related software in support of technical program delivery
  • Experience leading technical delivery teams in an Agile Scrum environment 
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and infrastructure code
  • Ability to query databases using SQL, read and understand JSON and YAML, interact with APIs in tools such as Postman or curl
  • Working knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization, and observability.
