Role Summary

Nuuly is hiring an Applications Platform Analyst who will own the implementation and consistency of analytics and reporting technology across Nuuly's digital platforms. This role translates business measurement requirements into technical specifications, establishes data collection standards, and validates implementation accuracy across web, mobile, and internal systems. The Analytics Platform Analyst bridges the Analytics team's measurement needs with technical execution, ensuring data integrity through requirements definition, pattern documentation, and comprehensive testing. This role participates in the scrum process and partners closely with Business Systems Analysts and engineering teams to deliver reliable analytics infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain analytics implementation standards and best practices across Google Analytics and internal analytics tools, including documentation for analytics architecture, implementation patterns, and data collection specifications
  • Write technical requirements for analytics instrumentation on new features and enhancements, establishing reusable data collection patterns for consistent application across development
  • Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and story breakdown sessions; partner with Business Systems Analysts during execution; and conduct UAT on all analytics functionality before deployment
  • Collaborate with Reporting, Analytics, and Data Science team to gather and validate measurement requirements
  • Validate data collection accuracy and consistency across platforms (web, mobile, internal tools) and audit existing implementations to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement
  • Provide guidance to BSAs and engineering teams on analytics technical requirements
  • Troubleshoot analytics tracking issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams
  • Stay current on GA4 features, best practices, and digital analytics trends

Role Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in analytics implementation, digital analytics, or technical business analysis roles
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 or similar digital analytics platforms; experience with Google Tag Manager, BigQuery, and Firebase helpful
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • Proficiency with SQL for data validation and testing; familiarity with JSON and API testing tools such as Postman
  • Knowledge of modern web and mobile app architecture
  • Experience working on internet, mobile, or consumer-facing technology platforms preferred; understanding of ecommerce or subscription-based business models preferred
  • Strong technical writing skills with ability to translate business measurement needs into technical implementation requirements
  • Detail-oriented with strong QA and testing capabilities; ability to identify patterns and establish reusable standards
  • Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences; comfortable working in Agile Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
  • Self-directed with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or equivalent experience
