Role Summary

URBN is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to support Fixed Asset and Capital Project accounting across multiple operating units. This role ensures accurate project setup, cost tracking, and financial reporting for both budgeted and unbudgeted initiatives. You will partner closely with Facilities, Purchasing, Brand Finance, and Shared Services teams to maintain financial integrity and transparency across all capital projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain fixed asset records and capital project setups, including new locations and project updates.
  • Process AP cost interfaces, ensure accurate coding/approvals.
  • Perform monthly close tasks: accruals, reconciliations, rollforwards, and depreciation review.
  • Partner with Shared Departments and Brands on project spend, forecasting, allocations, and status updates.
  • Provide audit support and assist with annual capital budgeting globally.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project accounting, fixed assets, or general accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel; Oracle/Hyperion preferred
  • Experience with multi-OU environment and intercompany transactions a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills are a must
