Role Summary

URBN is looking for a dynamic and strategic temporary Associate Social Media Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of the Reclectic’s organic social media strategy. Reclectic is a new, unique retail experience from URBN, a global portfolio of lifestyle brands including Anthropologie, Free People, Urban Outfitters, and Nuuly. From treasure hunters to thrifters, everyone can find something they love at Reclectic. Reclectic gets new merchandise daily, catering to our customers who come to us for their favorite brands and the thrill of the hunt. Our customers are all about discovery, creativity, and possibility. We love the role we play in helping them express their unique personal style.

As one of the first hires on the growing marketing team, this role will shape how Reclectic shows up across key social platforms, driving storytelling, engagement, community growth, and traffic through culturally relevant, brand-right content. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including store and retail operations, to ensure the brand voice and content strategy are consistent across every channel. We’re looking for someone who combines creativity with analytical rigor, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to turn insights into impact.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of social first content ideas for the team.
  • Lead scheduling and organizing content calendars across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Help coordinate content approvals, asset management, and internal communications.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, trends, and community feedback.
  • Conduct research on emerging social trends, creators, and cultural moments relevant to the Reclectic audience.
  • Support the preparation of performance reports and analytics summaries.
  • Assist with influencer outreach and tracking.

Role Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in Social Media or Digital Marketing.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, audience engagement, and cultural trends.
  • Strong storyteller with an understanding of content that converts.
  • Analytical, organized, and highly collaborative, comfortable leading both creative ideation and execution.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with social media tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, or Canva) is a plus.
  • Self-starter who’s passionate about building something new and shaping a growing brand’s social identity from the ground up.
