Role Summary

The Production Coordinator will play a pivotal role within our team, serving as a cornerstone for the successful execution of seasonal calendars. Operating as a baseline individual contributor, you will work closely under the guidance of management to ensure all production activities align seamlessly with organizational objectives. With a keen attention to detail and a proactive mindset, you will independently manage tasks and timelines, effectively actualizing seasonal calendars with precision and efficiency. Your ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while also demonstrating autonomy in task execution will be instrumental in meeting production targets and ensuring overall project success. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Can independently achieve seasonal calendar actualization 
  • Purchase order management – Issue po’s, update po’s, track po’s, ensure accuracy 
  • Manage time and action calendars meeting necessary deadlines to deliver product on time by required delivery. 
  • Coordinate and implement strategies with cross functional partners to ensure final fit and color approvals meet target deadlines. 
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve required time and action calendars 
  • Review and monitor all sample order processes and standard operating procedures 
  • Completes tasks by needed deadlines; communicates issues proactively 
  • Keeps PLM system up to date with accurate information 
  • Exhibits a growth mindset with regard to feedback.  

Role Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in an apparel production role   
  • Management and communication skills to work effectively with vendors & internal cross functional teams 
  • Foresight and problem solving skills that allow for a proactive approach to the business 
  • Organizational skills necessary to handle multiple tasks and reports and complete them within deadlines 
  • Ability to think analytically and plan strategically to the needs of the business
