Role Summary

 

Free People is looking for an Allocation Manager who will creatively lead and manage the allocation team to maximize sales and profit through allocation and business analysis to achieve financial objectives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the development and execution of effective store plans, analysis, stock to sales levels, size management, in store transfers, and back stock management
  • Reviewing category performance at the store level and working with planning on recommendations for the financial plans and monthly forecasts.
  • Balancing units and style counts by store
  • Analyzing and making constant recommendations on store profiles and selling patterns as they relate to current allocations and future buys
  • Ensuring timely and accurate execution of new store openings
  • Standardizing current allocation processes
  • Managing, coaching, and developing allocation team
  • Partnering with buying and planning management and the distribution center on the weekly flow of merchandise to ensure that the right product is delivered to stores at the right time
  • Maintaining successful store communication
  • Supporting and developing the division through information systems
  • Utilizing and executing new systems and tools
