Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is looking for a Digital Marketing Associate who will play a key role in executing digital strategies that drive engagement, traffic, and conversion across our owned and paid channels. You’ll collaborate with creative, merchandising, and analytics teams to bring the brand to life online in a way that resonates with our fashion-forward, culturally connected audience. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns across email, social, paid media, and web 
  • Support the planning and scheduling of content for UO’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling digital assets that align with brand voice and seasonal campaigns 
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and internal dashboards 
  • Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to inform campaign strategy and content direction 
  • Help manage influencer and affiliate marketing initiatives in partnership with the brand marketing team 
  • Stay current on digital trends, Gen Z culture, and emerging platforms to keep UO ahead of the curve 

Role Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field 
  • Experience: Prefer 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing in retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands. Experience working with social media platforms and digital marketing tools 
  • Cross-Team PlayerMust be an exceptional collaborator, with demonstrated success working in an integrated cross-functional team environmentExperience working with technical & non-technical stakeholders. 
  • CommunicationExcellent communication and presentation skills, including to an executive-level audience translating data into insights. 
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for aesthetics and brand alignment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for fashion, youth culture, and the Urban Outfitters brand
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, or similar e-commerce and email platforms
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Experience working with influencers or content creators
