Role Summary

Anthropologie is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Manager to lead our Marketing Analytics team. This role will oversee a growing function at the intersection of marketing performance analytics, business intelligence, and AI-driven insight generation. You'll be responsible for empowering our analytics team, implementing scalable data systems, and driving the adoption of agentic technologies that enable autonomous insight generation and decision support across the marketing organization.

As a key leader within the Marketing organization, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders — from paid media strategists to senior executives — to ensure marketing analytics initiatives are aligned with business goals and are delivering measurable impact. You will also play a critical role in advancing our AI strategy, including enabling agentic systems that proactively surface insights, answer stakeholder questions, and generate narratives from marketing data.

Role Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of data literacy and self-service by enabling marketing stakeholders to interact directly with data through AI-driven interfaces and insights.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of marketing analysts focused on cross-channel digital marketing performance as well as marketing connection to the business and long-term KPIs (LTV, MMM, CPA).
  • Define and execute the roadmap for AI-enhanced analytics, including the development and deployment of autonomous agents for insight generation, dashboard interaction, and stakeholder Q&A.
  • Drive the creation and evolution of scalable, intuitive, and actionable dashboards and scorecards in platforms like Ninjacat or equivalent BI tools.
  • Serve as a thought partner to digital marketing leads (e.g., Paid Search, Paid Social, Retention, SEO/GEOAEO) by ensuring data solutions align with campaign goals and strategic priorities.
  • Own the development and standardization of marketing KPIs, ensuring consistent reporting and measurement frameworks across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to ensure the infrastructure supports accurate and scalable marketing analytics.
  • Oversee the translation of raw data into compelling, actionable stories for technical and non-technical audiences — including executive-level presentations.
  • Develop and lead a scalable community of practice to accelerate safe and distributed adoption of agentic capabilities across the organization.
  • Champion GenAI and agentic literacy through education, frameworks, and cultural transformation initiatives across business and technical teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to support agentic delivery models, including LLM prompt frameworks, data summarization tools, and natural-language interfaces.
  • Continuously assess gaps in current analytics capabilities, data quality, or process scalability, and drive solutions that elevate the team’s impact.

Role Qualifications

  • Passion for automation, innovation, and operational excellence in the analytics space.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, BI, or data strategy, including 2–3 years in a people leadership or senior role.
  • Deep familiarity with digital marketing performance metrics and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SA360).
  • Demonstrated experience with BI tools (e.g., Ninjacat, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and proficiency in SQL.
  • Proven track record of delivering insights that influence marketing or business strategy at scale.
  • Experience deploying or integrating AI/LLM-powered tools or agents in analytics workflows (e.g., prompt engineering, narrative generation, insight summarization).
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, especially with marketing, data engineering, and executive teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Prior experience in a retail, ecommerce, or omnichannel marketing environment.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics techniques such as attribution modeling, MMM, or predictive segmentation.
