Role Summary

Anthropologie is seeking a strategic, data-driven Paid Search Specialist to join our growing Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will support Anthropologie’s paid search marketing efforts including agency management and communication, partnering with cross-functional teams, reporting on performance, reacting to trends, & delivering tactical strategies that align with brand goals as it pertains to Google, Microsoft, and other search platforms. In partnership with the Paid Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for driving traffic, revenue growth, and customer acquisition while aligning with brand priorities and seasonal initiatives. 

This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of SEM best practices (both text and feed-based tactics), & strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external agency partners. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Paid Marketing Manager and agency teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and seasonal priorities. 
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance & pacing, identifying trends and opportunities to improve ROAS, CPCs, and customer acquisition. 
  • Ensure that campaign structure, keyword, copy, sitelink, product feed, & audience targeting strategies are optimized and aligned to business brand, product, and seasonal priorities in partnership with internal teams and agency partners.  
  • Perform deep dive search analyses when needed to understand key trends and work with agencies and engine reps make recommendations based on these results. 
  • Maintain weekly and monthly performance reports & recaps, highlighting key trends, wins, and areas for improvement. 
  • Translate data into actionable insights and present findings to internal stakeholders across marketing, merchandising, and leadership. 
  • Work closely with Analytics, Creative, Brand Marketing, and Merch teams to ensure paid search efforts are integrated and aligned. 
  • Provide input on creative needs and collaborate on testing strategies to improve ad performance. 
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies. 
  • Monitor the marketplace and competitors, keeping the Brand informed of industry initiatives and key developments in Search marketing. 

Role Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SEM or performance marketing, preferably in retail or e-commerce. 
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, SA360, and Microsoft Advertising; experience with bid strategies and audience segmentation. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions. 
  • Proficient Excel skills. 
  • Excellent communication and project management skills. 
  • A passion for the Anthropologie brand and a desire to contribute to its growth.
