Urban Outfitters Assistant Flat Stylist

The Urban Outfitters Photo Studio is seeking a detail-oriented and creatively driven Assistant Flats Stylist to join our in-house styling team. This role supports the styling of product photography across categories, with a focus on still life imagery including tabletop setups, apparel pin-ups, and beauty product styling. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for composition, texture, and brand-relevant aesthetics, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment.

• Assist in styling flat lay and tabletop photography for e-commerce and marketing needs, ensuring consistency with the Urban Outfitters brand identity.
• Support senior stylists with apparel pin-up styling, including preparation, pinning, and garment adjustments for clean and flattering presentation.
• Execute styling for beauty and accessory product shoots, maintaining attention to detail in proportion, cleanliness, and visual appeal.
• Collaborate closely with photographers, art directors, and studio teams to ensure creative alignment and high-quality output.
• Maintain studio organization and prep product for shoots, including steaming, pinning, folding, and prop organization.
• Monitor styling sets during shoots to maintain product accuracy and visual consistency.
• Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute ideas to elevate still life and flat styling approaches.
  
  

• 1–2 years of experience in still life or product styling, preferably in a commercial photo studio or fashion/retail environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating tabletop, apparel pin-up, and/or beauty styling experience.
• Knowledge of styling tools and techniques for both apparel and product categories.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong sense of current fashion, lifestyle, and home trends in line with the Urban Outfitters brand.
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
