Role Summary

Anthropologie seeks a digital marketing professional to lead programmatic media activation strategy strategy for Anthropologie Group brands. This role is highly cross-functional where teamwork, innovation, analysis and strategic thinking are critical aspects of this position’s responsibilities.   

 

You need to connect the dots between our business goals, macro business performance, customers, and our mission to encourage and inspire and our unique product assortment to drive growth. You will collaborate closely with agency teams, creative leads, merchants, and ad tech stakeholders to develop strategic plans while leading a team to execute that strategy.  

 

In this role, thought leadership, collaboration, and clear communications are key. It is critical that you are curious, a self-starter, and a willing teammate who takes pride in ownership of this important program. It's important to possess an eagerness to innovate, curiosity and excitement for search, and the ability to balance multiple priorities & KPIs, and measure, test, sometimes fail, learn, and evolve. 

 

This role is Hybrid and will be required to be in office 3 days/week with flexibility on which days you are in office 

Role Responsibilities

Executive Presence & Knowledge Sharing 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing expert recommendations on programmatic strategy including investment decisions, audience targeting, technology innovation, and channel strategy. 
  • Synthesize complex performance data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership, highlighting channel impact on divisional and total business performance. 
  • Monitor channel/agency/in-house performance and pacing against KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPM) and hold regular check-ins to review optimizations and results. 
  • Continuously identify and implement innovative programmatic tactics, leveraging emerging platform features and industry best practices to drive competitive advantage. 

 

 

Channel Management & Innovation 

  • Translate high-level business priorities into actionable programmatic initiatives, ensuring alignment across brand and divisional strategies. 
  • Build strategy for and manage program across the funnel with the ability to balance multiple KPIs for driving awareness while balancing return. 
  • Build projections and investment recommendations for tactic allocation and weekly/monthly spend pacing to achieve channel goals using both platform data and internal source of truth. 
  • Lead agency and internal teams with authority and clarity, ensuring flawless execution of programmatic campaigns while making data-driven decisions that optimize performance and influence broader marketing strategies. This includes: 
  • Evaluating and challenging agency and platform recommendations. 
  • Implementing innovative programmatic tactics across display, video, audio, and emerging formats. 
  • Reviewing and approving media plans, audience strategies, and creative assets. 
  • Ensuring accurate tracking and reporting through proper implementation of pixels, tags, and analytics integrations. 
  • Auditing campaign structure and settings to confirm adherence to best practices and compliance requirements. 

 

Leadership & Team Management  

  • Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to support opportunities to drive the business. 
  • Champion a culture of testing and learning by designing experiments that inform future strategy and deliver measurable business impact. 
  • Manage a programmatic specialist and collaborate with cross-channel peers to foster career development and skills growth. 
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by collaborating with creative, merchandising, and analytics teams to integrate programmatic initiatives into holistic marketing campaigns. 
  • Work closely with Ad Tech partners to develop and implement advanced automation and optimization solutions that drive efficiencies. 

Role Qualifications

  • 5–7 years’ experience in programmatic media, with emphasis on display, video, and emerging formats.
  • Expert in DSP platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk) and ad tech tools.
  • Agency and/or consulting experience a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external teams to develop strategies that meet goals within budget and timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience presenting insights that ladder up to business goals.
  • High degree of project management skill.
  • Medium to high familiarity with web analytics and attribution modeling. 
  • Passion for search, staying on top of the changing ecosystem including advertising formats, Search AI landscape, and other technologies
  • An innate curiosity and ability to breakdown complex analyses into concise, straightforward recommendations and marketing initiatives
