Role Summary

Terrain is looking for a Design Services Intern from DVU to join us for the summer. This intern will work in collaboration with the Design Services team to create floral and container design projects in-store, off-site, and in private residential settings. They uphold terrain’s four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer. 

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Builds genuine customer relationships through personalized attention
  • Understands terrain retail concepts and partners with design team to create a cohesive environment through compelling plant installations and displays
  • Exhibits an interest in home and garden trends in art, style, color, design, and architecture


Teamwork + Communication

  • Takes initiative and works productively solo or within a team 
  • Clear communication + team work skills

Visual + Business Operations

  • Collaborates in the project planning process through sharing of inspiration & idea generation

Role Qualifications

  • Passion for horticulture and floral design
  • Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
