Role Summary

URBN is searching for an Assistant Recruiter to join the Home Office Talent Acquisition Team! The Assistant Recruiter will concentrate on attracting top talent in support of departments which are focused on Planning and Allocation, Supply Chain and Shared Services.  This individual will partner with hiring managers across all of URBN’s brands, including Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, and Nuuly. The Assistant Recruiter must have keen assessment skills that permit them to work on a wide variety of positions at all levels. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead 10–20 concurrent searches, owning the full talent acquisition lifecycle from kickoff to offer acceptance.
  • Partner closely with hiring teams, human resources, and cross-functional departments to deliver strategic recruiting solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with Hiring Managers across URBN brands through weekly recruiting meetings and one-on-one consultations.
  • Source top talent using a wide range platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, and beyond
  • Discover and recommend innovative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Cultivate strong talent pipelines through industry networks, professional associations, and employee referrals.
  • Manage and present reports for cross-functional leaders, and update hiring managers on candidate pipeline on a regular basis while fully leveraging the Applicant Tracking System to drive efficiency and insights.

Role Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience managing full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles and departments.
  • Proven success partnering with Hiring Managers and candidates at all levels to drive strategic hiring decisions.
  • Background in corporate recruiting preferred; agency and field recruiting experience also valued.
  • Skilled in using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office to streamline and optimize recruiting workflows.
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced, ever-evolving environments with agility and focus.
  • Experience in fashion or retail industries is a plus, with an understanding of creative and customer-centric talent profiles.
