Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is looking for an Apparel Design Intern to join us for the Summer. This intern will support the Men's team in the overall design and development of new apparel.

various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of

The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in
Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:
   
1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component required for the design internship position you are applying for, you will be notified directly by 11/8. If requested to complete a project, it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position. 

2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a
video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email
is received.  

3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.   

Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 3rd, 2025.

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concept presentations
  • Support the design team with sketching, CADs, and technical packages
  • Help source fabrics, trims, and inspiration materials for upcoming collections
  • Organize and maintain sample libraries, swatch books, and design archives
  • Participate in fittings, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings with buying and production teams
  • Conduct trend and market research to support design direction and innovation
  • Assist in preparing line sheets, spec sheets, and internal presentation materials

Role Qualifications

What We’re Looking For 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design or a related field
  • Strong interest in women’s fashion, youth culture, and the Urban Outfitters aesthetic
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with CLO 3D or similar software is a plus
  • Excellent sketching and visual communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn in a creative, fast-paced environment
