Role Summary

The Nuuly Stylist is an in office, full time position based in Philadelphia.The Stylist’s objective is to drive the revenues of the business through effective styling and merchandising of product. This person should have a strong understanding of current trends and a unique point of view that aligns with our target customer. The stylist will oversee assistant stylists on the team and must be willing to work in a fast paced team environment daily. This position partners with Studio, Merchandising, and Buying

Role Responsibilities

  • Ownership & execution of developing inspiring, on-brand, and on-trend looks daily for direct product photography and creative imagery
  • Have an excellent understanding of the variety of Nuuly customers, relevant trends, technical fit on model, and overall business needs
  • Present an average of 100 styled ecom looks weekly for approval and feedback
  • Collaborate with on set team daily, including photographer, digital tech, assistant stylist, hair and makeup daily
  • Manage a team of 1-3 assistant stylists and oversee daily tasks are being performed
  • Work with Associate Stylist & Styling manager to develop around 100 creative looks seasonally 
  • Communicate cross departmentally with buyers, MAs, and sample coordinator to ensure product information is correctly passed to the studio 
  • Keep the styling closet up to date by purchasing seasonally appropriate and on trend accessories including shoes, jewelry, and layering pieces 
  • Maintain and manage styling budget

Role Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of on set, on model styling experience in an e-commerce setting with portfolio
  • Comfortable, positive, and flexible in a culture of continuous feedback and change, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and detail oriented skills
  • Ability to recognize current trends and forecast upcoming trends 
  • Strongly self-motivated and a quick learner, able to creatively and independently solve problems
  • Ability to manage Jr level team members
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Figma
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
