Role Summary

Nuuly is looking for an Assistant Merchandise Planner who will work to maximize subscription revenue by creating a sound merchandise and assortment plan for rentals, with direction from supervisor, that minimizes risk, increases productivity, and support nuuly’s goals for turn and in-stock.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic Support & Analysis: Uses planning tools and systems to assist in decision-making and interpret reporting.
  • Business Execution & Problem-Solving: Applies analytical insights to resolve challenges, partners with supervisor to improve processes.
  • Process & Ownership: Tracks key metrics, supports the buying team in weekly evaluations, and applies data-driven insights to class strategies.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Builds strong working relationships with buying and planning teams and contributes positively to team processes.
  • Growth & Development: Takes initiative in learning industry best practices, seeks mentorship, and supports team goals while developing professional skills.

Role Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning or in a retail environment
  • Experience in start-up environment a plus
