Role Summary

FP Movement is looking for a Product Development Coordinator to provide administrative and clerical support for the FP Movement Product Development & Sourcing department. The PD Coordinator will work closely with management and coordinate tasks with the team on a variety of products utilizing project management principles.

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Physical tracking of samples for the department inclusive of salesman, photoshoot, catalog & proto samples.
  • Coordinates product communications with core & extended teams daily.
  • Physical tracking of wash / trim / fit and color submits.
  • Data entry and support in Tradestone inclusive of Raw Material and BOM management.
  • Support Sr. Coordinators with weekly reporting and capable of publishing & communicating.
  • Enforce published calendar dates with vendor for on time sample shipping.
  • Develops an understanding of brand goals, strategies & business fundamentals.
  • Develops an understanding of margins, FOB, cost factors and how to influence decision making.
  • Continually seeks opportunity for process improvement.

Role Qualifications

  • Independent judgement is required of the candidate to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with ability to flex as needed.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of apparel construction & manufacturing.
  • Demonstrates a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to assess and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Works with a high sense of urgency and integrity, easily and quickly adapts to change, and is motivated by deadlines and new challenges. Meets assigned deadlines, taking direction regarding shifting priorities.
  • Responsible for keeping projects on track by coordinating multiple tasks, monitoring the critical path and meeting milestones / project deadlines at every stage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and multiple tasks.  manage time effectively.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Exhibit a strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
