The Free People Craft/Embellishment Intern’s responsibility is to support the designers and merchants by providing entry level skills and basic administrative and design craft skills. Completing a variety of tasks in an efficient and timely manner, while working closely with many people and problem solving both creatively and technically to ensure that we are creating and selling product that represents the unique style of the Free People customer.
About the Summer Internship Program:
Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within
various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of
business which they choose to pursue. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern
focused events including exposure to our senior leadership across the business in small group

The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in
Philadelphia, PA.
Summer Internship Program Application Process:
1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component required for the design internship position you are applying for, you will be notified directly by 11/8. If requested to complete a project, it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position.
2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a
video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email
is received.
3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.
Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 3rd, 2025.
Create craft packages and technical placements
Color artworks according to trends and seasonal color palettes
Scan and prepare artwork for design meetings
Ability to sketch or communicate design ideas using computer programs
Contribute to and participate in seasonal trend meetings, including researching emerging trends and inspiration relevant to the Free People product
Communicate artwork and color details to vendors using internal platforms and processes
Provide technical communication and follow-up related to new craft and embellishment artworks
Support designers and merchants by facilitating style visualizations (CADs)
Perform administrative tasks for the design team, such as copying, filing, and assisting with monthly craft and embellishment packages
