Role Summary

Anthropologie Home is seeking a talented and passionate Décor Associate Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, trends, and exceptional CAD skills. This role will involve designing innovative and stylish decor pieces across mirrors, hardware, baskets, and wall décor and following through with the product development process.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design Concept Development: Create original and visually appealing functional decor designs that align with current market trends and our brand identity.
  • Research & Development: Stay on top of décor trends and look to develop new and innovative techniques and materials for the functional décor assortment.
  • Sketching: Produce digital sketches to communicate design ideas and explore creative concepts.
  • Technical Specifications: Creating detailed technical specifications for the factories to clearly execute the sketches that have been presented and approved.
  • Prototyping: Working with our Product Development team to oversee the creation of samples and evaluate the functionality and durability of designs.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency 3D modeling & rendering programs including KeyShot, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office. Interest in AI and VR programs.
  • Excellent hand sketching skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A portfolio demonstrating previous design work.
