Role Summary

Anthropologie Apparel is seeking a curious and imaginative Apparel Concept Color Summer 2026 Intern to support the design team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore new creative approaches, contribute to seasonal research and palette development, and gain hands-on experience within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the Anthropologie brand and customer, brings a strong visual point of view, and is eager to grow their design skills through creative experimentation and team-led projects. About the Summer Internship Program:

Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within
various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of
business which they choose to pursue. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern

The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in
Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:
   
1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component required for the design internship position you are applying for, you will be notified directly by 11/8. If requested to complete a project, it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position. 

2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a
video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email
is received.  

3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.   

Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 3rd, 2025.

Role Responsibilities

 
  • Internship Program: Participate in URBN-hosted training sessions and events, sharing takeaways with your mentor
  • Training: Gain exposure to the color development process through hands-on learning and guided instruction
  • Support: Assist team in creating and developing seasonal palettes
  • Creative Ideation: Contributing innovative ideas during color reviews and workshops
  • Collaboration: Co-host the Color & Print Open House, sharing the color process with fellow Anthro interns
  • Hands-On Projects: Explore color through fabric swatching, dye testing, and experimental combination
  • Presentation: Develop and present a final project that showcases your color journey, guided by your mentor and inspired by your learnings

  • Curious: Eager to explore emerging fashion, art, design, and cultural references
  • Motivated: Shows initiative and enthusiasm for learning through research and creative exploration
  • Collaborative: Open to feedback and participates actively in brainstorming sessions
  • Creative Maker: Enjoys experimenting with new color techniques, hand-painting, and material exploration
  • Dying: Comfortable working hands-on with dye techniques across various fabrications
  • Digital Design: Working knowledge of Adobe programs
  • AI Exploration: Interest in using AI tools to support research, inspiration, and idea generation
  • Trend-Savvy: Ability to identify emerging color trends and translate them into fresh, fashion-forward palettes
