This role is ideal for a visual thinker who leads with mood, color, and composition—translating seasonal concepts into elevated design across digital platforms. You will also play a key role in upholding creative standards, mentoring junior designers, and shaping the visual evolution of the brand.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design artistic and mood-driven emails based on seasonal branding and trends using elevated use of type, color, and layout.

  • Design visually compelling assets for digital touchpoints including homepages, landing pages, app, and art-based promotions.

  • Contribute to seasonal trend concepts through building inspiration and mood-boards covering a range of artistic mediums, moods, and sensibilities.

  • Refresh and evolve brand typography and graphic systems seasonally—introducing expressive type and hand-lettered treatments that reflect current trends.

  • Develop original concepts, artwork, textures, collages, and layered compositions that bring depth and storytelling to sales & promotions.

  • Contribute to evolving and elevating the digital experience of website, app, and email programs through presenting forward layouts and concepts.

  • Provide creative mentorship to junior and mid-level designers—offering feedback in reviews, supporting skill growth, and helping uphold design quality and craft.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Web Merchandising, Photo Studio, UX, and Analytics to align on seasonal priorities and brand initiatives.

  • Help foster a collaborative, inspiring design culture—bringing thoughtfulness, vision, and strong creative instincts to team discussions and critiques.

  • Support the evolution of the brand’s visual identity, contributing ideas and experimentation that push our aesthetic forward while staying true to the core of the brand.

Role Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or an art-forward digital brand.

  • Passionate about the world of design, art, fashion and culture—bringing a strong point of view, curiosity, risk-taking, and inspired outlook to the creative process.

  • Strong graphic design foundation - knowledge of typography, composition, layout, hierarchy, and color theory.

  • Experience leading creative projects and mentoring other designers in a collaborative team environment.

  • Portfolio that showcases both art & photo based graphic design skill, range of sensibility, and conceptual thinking.

  • Understanding of seasonal concept development, visual storytelling, and translating artistic references into applied design.

  • Interest and experience in Web & Mobile Design, industry trends, forward editorial experiences, and web best practices.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop. Strong working knowledge of techniques, tools, GIF animation, and shortcuts. Organized and streamlined workflow.

  • Strong knowledge of typographic principles and hierarchy. Current with trending typefaces, type-mixing and pairing.

  • Clear communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to give and receive direct and thoughtful feedback.

  • Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage timelines, prioritize creative projects, problem solve, and guide multiple workflows simultaneously.
