Role Summary

URBN is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our growing security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IAM solutions that enhance our organization's security posture while enabling enterprise user productivity. This role requires deep technical expertise in various IAM technologies, a strong understanding of security best practices, and the ability to lead complex projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support IAM solutions, including but not limited to identity governance and administration (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), passwordless authentication, and directory services.
  • Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT operations, application development, audit) to integrate IAM solutions into existing systems and applications.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex IAM-related issues, providing expert-level support.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability remediation efforts related to IAM infrastructure.
  • Automate IAM processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Stay current with emerging IAM technologies, threats, and industry trends to recommend and implement continuous improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Role Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with a focus on engineering and implementation.
  • Expert-level experience managing Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Strong understanding of IGA (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt), PAM (e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust), and passwordless solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and integration.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with API integrations and web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
