Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is looking for an Ecommerce Web Production Intern to join us for the Summer. As a Web Production Intern, you’ll assist in the execution of daily site updates, content uploads, and product launches. You’ll work closely with merchandising, creative, and digital teams to ensure the Urban Outfitters website is accurate, engaging, and on-brand.

The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.
 
Summer Internship Program Application Process:
 
1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component in the application (see below within role qualifications), it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position. This is due at the time of your application submission.
 
2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.
 
3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.
 
Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 3rd, 2025.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in uploading and updating product information, images, and pricing across the website. 
  • Support the execution of homepage refreshes, promotional banners, and landing pages. 
  • Help QA site content for accuracy, functionality, and visual consistency across devices. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate content delivery. 
  • Maintain internal documentation for web production processes and schedules. 
  • Monitor site performance and flag any issues related to content, links, or layout. 
  • Conduct competitive research to identify best practices in digital merchandising and UX. 

Role Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Digital Media, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Interest in digital retail, content management, and user experience. 
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, WordPress) is a plus. 
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is helpful but not required. 
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. 
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
