Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is looking for a CRM Intern to join us for the Summer. As a CRM Intern, you’ll assist in the day-to-day operations of our CRM programs, helping to organize customer data, support email and SMS campaign execution, and contribute to customer insights reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in marketing analytics, customer engagement, and digital strategy.

The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.
 
Summer Internship Program Application Process:
 
1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component in the application (see below within role qualifications), it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position. This is due at the time of your application submission.
 
2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.
 
3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.
 
Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 3rd, 2025.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, QA, and scheduling of SMS campaigns. 
  • Help maintain and organize customer data lists and segmentation files. 
  • Support the tracking and reporting of campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions). 
  • Conduct research on customer behavior trends and loyalty program benchmarks. 
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional communications with creative, merchandising, and digital teams. 
  • Help document CRM processes and maintain campaign calendars. 

Role Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Interest in customer behavior, data-driven marketing, and personalization. 
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Klaviyo, or Braze) is a plus. 
  • Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and systems. 
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, proactive attitude.
