Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is looking for a Women's Accessories Buying Intern to join us for the Summer. This intern would work with the Accessories Team and supporting our growing categories in the business. This person would support all buying functions related to Women's Accessories.

The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.
 
Summer Internship Program Application Process:
 
1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component in the application (see below within role qualifications), it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position. This is due at the time of your application submission.
 
2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.
 
3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.
 
Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 3rd, 2025.

  • Trend forecasting/research
  • Sample management
  • Data analysis/reviewing product performance
  • Problem solving
  • Cross divisional connection (sample + information handover)

Role Qualifications

  • Fashion/buying/merchandising major or strong understanding of Fashion Industry & trends
  • Proficient in: Excel, Microsoft Office/Outlook, PowerPoint, Canva, Google Docs
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Retail math proficiency
  • Excellent team work & creative problem solving skills
  • Retail experience preferred

 

 

Project Requirement: 

In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role please submit a Trend Concept Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred)·  Once you complete your project, please upload it to the additional documents section in the application process.

Create a concept board with 3 – 5 fashion trends you see emerging for the Urban Outfitters customer in Fall 2026

· Pull imagery from blogs, Pinterest, Instagram, runway, etc. to show your point of view – merchandisers, make it into a story!


· We are looking for forward thinkers showing future inspirational trends that move beyond where we are currently or where we have been!
