Role Summary

The Service & Selling Coordinator role will support all training initiatives as they pertain to retail and call center teams for all Anthropologie brands including Home, Weddings & Terrain. This includes but is not limited to establishing service and selling standards, skill- and role-based needs and empowering store teams to confidently work with customers through supporting company intranet communication, product information, writing elearning programs, compliance tracking and practical application. The position will work closely with Styling teams, Multimedia Designer, Regional Service Leads, Buying teams, Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, Product Merchandisers and URBN Learning & Development.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work with manager to write, design and rollout designated training content with a focus on improved customer experience and productive and proactive service, selling and styling culture to drive sales.
  • Plan and communicate training direction to stores to ensure a consistent and elevated level of service and training across the company.
  • Collaborate & communicate with cross-functional partners, subject matter experts and team members to collect information & inspiration needed to develop brand-right training materials.
  • Maintain company Intranet training pages by routinely check for relevancy, necessary updates and outdated information. Present findings and suggested updates to manager.
  • Coordinate and communicate training materials, tools and supplies needed for in-person trainings and workshops. Attend and support in-store trainings as needed.
  • Assist in the evolution and modernization of service, selling and styling documentation, including multi-media content for new business initiatives as they come up.
  • Support URBN on all company initiatives including but not limited to New Hire Orientation and Learning Management System content.
  • Develop relationships and maintain lines of communication with cross-functional partners.
  • Support trainings and documentation to Contact Center related to Apparel, Accessories and Home products and the Anthropologie customer.
  • Utilize creative and instructional writing and design principles to story tell through training materials for Retail Stores and Contact Center.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications

  • 3+ years Retail, Personal Styling or other service experience
  • A strong understanding of who the Anthropologie customer is
  • Basic design skills
  • Outstanding creative and operational, verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated with strong organizational and follow through skills
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, deals well with complexity
  • Innovative, self-starter who can effectively manage deadlines for self
  • Ability inspire creative thinkers in complex businesses, not afraid to ‘roll up sleeves’ and dig in, maintains optimistic outlook
  • Ability to take feedback and make adjustments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Retail environment and basic retail business acumen
  • Ability to accommodate domestic travel and working in stores as needed
