Role Summary

Anthropologie Home is seeking a talented and passionate Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, trends, and exceptional CAD skills. This role will involve designing innovative and stylish lighting pieces and following through with the product development process.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design Concept Development: Create original and visually appealing lighting designs that align with current market trends and our brand identity.
  • Sketching: Produce hand-drawn and digital sketches to communicate design ideas and explore creative concepts.
  • Technical Specifications: Creating detailed technical specifications for the factories to clearly execute the sketches that have been presented and approved.
  • Prototyping: Working with our Product Development team oversee the creation of samples and evaluate the functionality, comfort, and durability of furniture designs.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency SolidWorks, KeyShot, Photoshop, InDesign, ProCreate, Iillustrator, and Microsoft Office. Interest in AI and VR programs.
  • Excellent hand sketching skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A portfolio demonstrating previous design work.
