Role Summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Urban Outfitters' paid marketing programs, with a strong emphasis on Paid Social Advertising. This person will partner with cross-functional teams at Urban Outfitters to understand the business and oversee third-party agencies to react to trends and drive top-line revenue at a profitable ROAS. The Manager is also responsible for delivering tactical strategies that align with brand goals and reporting on performance. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketing agencies on the implementation of channel strategies, with a primary focus on Paid Social Marketing.  
  • Optimize paid social campaigns to drive a profitable ROAS, top-line demand, and acquire new customers.
  • Share marketing plans and performance with key internal business partners. Attend appropriate meetings to understand business needs and manage agencies as they execute plans within each channel to capitalize on trends, support category demand, promotions, and/or brand campaigns.
  • Partner with Creative, Brand Marketing, and Social Media Teams on monthly campaigns to elevate content across owned paid marketing channels.
  • Own reporting and communication of channel results on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to internal partners.
  • Continually review the agencies’ service, processes, and systems to ensure they meet excellent quality standards.
  • Monitor the marketplace and competitors, keeping the Brand informed of industry initiatives and key developments. 

Role Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Marketing or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of digital marketing experience at a retailer or agency, with a strong focus on managing paid social programs to a profitable ROI.
  • Strategic Ability: Analyze marketing campaigns and present recommendations based on results.
  • Experience: Developing and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Communication: Positive, professional, and timely communication with teams and partners.
  • Detail Orientation: Focus on small details to produce high-quality work.
  • Data Experience: Ability to make decisions based on data analysis and insights. Excellent analytical skills with experience in data analysis, A/B testing, and using data to drive decisions.
  • Customer Orientation: Prioritize customer needs and satisfaction. Experience with customer satisfaction surveys, feedback loops, and customer journey mapping.
