The Junior Production Designer is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of assets for the Urban Outfitters brand across multiple channels and platforms. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to utilize templates and create consistency across design production in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Template Development: Build and maintain a template library inside a collaborative file structure with best production standards in place.
Graphic Design: Produce digital creative assets within defined brand guidelines. Create web-ready responsive assets including exporting files, image compression, slicing and optimization. Handle basic design changes, such as color, text modifications and layout changes.
Quality Assurance + File Organization: Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables ensuring files are accurate and error free, including: file construction, file naming conventions, correct copy and imagery, post production, and file organization on shared server.
Production + Workflow Support: Work closely with Senior Creative Production Manager in maintaining design workflows in project management software (Asana). Support with file hand-off communications, setting up presentations and work for reviews and other digital production requirements.
Education: Degree in graphic design or equivalent experience desired.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, digital marketing, UX/UI
Software: Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Asana or project management software a plus.
Communication: Positive, professional, and timely communication with teams
Time Management: Proactively plans and controls time to efficiently deliver team priorities and meet deadlines.
Detail Orientation: Focus on and manage the small details of a task or project to consistently produce high-quality work.
