Role Summary

The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in defining and standardizing operational procedures, developing and implementing comprehensive employee training programs, and shaping the internal communications strategy for the brand. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual with a passion for operational excellence and a strong ability to communicate effectively across teams. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development and Maintenance: 
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and continuously improve SOPs that drive operational consistency and excellence across all locations. 
    Maintain the brand intranet page and ensure that all policies and procedures are updated on the intranet, as well as making sure that the intranet presents as cohesive and visually appealing. 
  • Training Program Development and Delivery: 
    Design and implement training materials for employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. Deliver training sessions both in-person and virtually, tailoring content to various learning styles. 
  • Communications Strategy: 
    Develop and manage internal communication strategies that ensure all team members are informed, engaged, and aligned with the brand's goals and initiatives. Create clear, concise, and effective communication materials, including newsletters, memos, and training manuals. Create and maintain consistent style guidelines for communication and internal documentation. 
  • Operational Support: 
    Assist in the day-to-day operational activities onsite as needed, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently in alignment with established SOPs. Identify areas for improvement and work with the leaders to implement solutions. Generate reporting for leadership, and assist with compliance tracking 
  • Continuous Improvement: 
    Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and communication strategies, gathering feedback and making adjustments as needed to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals. 

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or related industry, with a focus on training, communications, or operations. 
  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective training programs and develop clear, concise operational documentation. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. 
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies. 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience in change management and implementing new processes or systems. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making. 
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving abilities.
