Nuuly Photographer

The Nuuly Photographer is a full time position based at our Home Office at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The Nuuly Photographer is responsible for on-figure and still life e-commerce photography. The ideal candidate is adaptable, excited to work on a team, has a positive personality and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This person must have a strong desire to maintain Nuuly’s high standards of photography that are aspirational and on brand. They must maintain in-depth knowledge of brand identity and stay aware of current trends within photography and fashion.

• Shoot on-figure and still life photography
• Capture the functionality, features, benefits, and uniqueness of individual products
• Consistently produce images that maintain established guidelines set by Photo Director
• Directing and engaging with models to show Nuuly's photographic aesthetic and brand values
• Work closely with on set art direction and styling teams to efficiently showcase product
• The ability to work in a high-volume studio workflow while maintaining a positive on set attitude and demeanor
• Understand and meet image and task deadlines 
• Assist in the maintenance and organization of the studio and the photo equipment
• Shoot marketing still life assets as needed
• Stay current with fashion photography and other fashion brand trends

• 5 years of digital photography in studio experience; e-commerce focused studio preferred
• Experience working with and directing models on set
• Strong photography abilities and compositional skills
• Proficient knowledge of studio strobe and continuous lighting techniques
• Experience with Capture One Pro & Mac OS
• Experience with Profoto Lights, Nikon & Fujifilm cameras is a bonus 
• Ability to maintain a positive on set attitude and to lead by example in a high-paced environment

• Associate’s Degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or in-field experience accepted
